2021 TRANS-ARC Summit

Our TRANS-ARC Summit included presentations, small group discussions, and a survey. We hope this information may be useful in planning your own TGNB health research meetings.

This TRANS-ARC presentation highlights work by Owen-Smith and colleagues to understand practices that can promote or hinder trans participation in research

At the TRANS-ARC Summit, Gaines Blasdel and Geolani Dy presented information on what we do and don’t know about GGAS outcomes based on current research

What did we do with the survey results?

After the surveys were completed, our TRANS-ARC Steering Committee reviewed the questions and found common themes and topics.

During the Summit we reviewed the survey results in small discussion groups and created a list of research questions that are meaningful to the community.

We are now sharing the results of this meeting (the research topic list and collaboration strategies) widely with the trans/non-binary community, researchers, research funders, and the public.
