TRANS-ARC received a nearly $100,000 PCORI engagement award in 2020 for a 12 month period. With this time and money, we did the following:
︎︎︎ Created a network of people from across the country who represent patient, community, advocacy, healthcare, payer, and other perspectives in GGAS. Our steering committee is a core guiding group, the summit we hosted had 80 attendees, and the survey we put out had 1000 participants.
︎︎︎ Through surveys and discussion groups, we gathered themes and research questions about GGAS that are important to a wide community.
︎︎︎ Hosted a virtual TRANS-ARC Summit (March 12-13, 2021), where we brought together our community and amplified trans voices in developing future research priorities.
︎︎︎ Shared our results widely with trans/non-binary and research communities.
